Have you ever been really desperate to do things right? 53%
of Americans are desperate to learn how to budget and spend well. Yet, many folks don’t know how to do it. We also often long to do what God wants us to do with our resources. This series will focus on how to turn that desperation into action.
10/6 Desperate to Follow the Rules – Luke 12:42-48
The scripture says to those whom much has been given, much will be expected. But, what does that mean? How do we use our finances wisely. This week we will focus on practical ways of knowing what resources we have so that we can use them wisely.
10/13 Desperate for Alignment – Matthew 6:19-21
Many of us long for alignment in our lives. We want our words to line up with our actions. We want our lives to align with God’s will for us. What does our treasure have to do with that?
10/20 Desperate for Impact – Acts 20:17-35
More than anything, we often want to make a difference in the world. However, our finances are often the one area that we hold back from being a part of that. What if we were people who worked really hard to align our generosity with impact?
10/27 Desperate to Celebrate – Ecclesiastes 3:9-13
To everything there is a season, and what if that season were leading to a major celebration. The people of the Old Testament regularly celebrated all that God has done. This Sunday we will collect the estimate of giving cards and truly celebrate where God has been in the midst of it all.
