A Dream for Loudoun: The Wellness Loudoun Initiative

For the past several years, Crossroads Church has been in a period of deep listening and prayer, seeking God’s vision for our role in the community. Through conversations with over 50 groups of people, a powerful calling has emerged: to address the critical needs for affordable childcare, stronger community and volunteer connections, and greater access to mental health services.

A big part of this calling has led to the development of Wellness Loudoun, a bold initiative to create a wellness center that will be a lifeline for our community. We envision a safe and welcoming space where individuals and families can find the support, resources, and community they need to thrive. And there’s still time to join in the efforts to bring this dream to life.

Our Progress:

We’re excited to share the following progress on this important project:

  • Executive Director on Board: We’re thrilled to share that we’ve hired Jennifer Marshall as our Executive Director. As the Co-Founder and former Executive Director of the national nonprofit organization This Is My Brave, Jenn brings 10 years of mental health nonprofit expertise and passion to lead our programmatic development and fundraising efforts.
  • Mission and Vision Taking Shape: We’re in the final stages of crafting the mission and vision statements that will guide Wellness Loudoun’s work.
  • Building a Brand: The logo, website, and social media presence for Wellness Loudoun are under development, ensuring a strong and consistent message. We aim to unveil our new brand during Mental Health Month, but in the meantime you can go to wellnessloudoun.org right now to sign up for our e-newsletter which will launch soon!

Your Partnership is Essential

The vision for Wellness Loudoun is ambitious, and we can’t achieve it alone. We invite you to join us in making this dream a reality. Your financial support will be crucial in helping us raise the additional $2 million needed to build the facility and launch the programs that will transform lives in our community.
