Christmastime at Crossroads
Message Series at Crossroads UMC: POP Christmas
December 1-29
Everyone loves Christmas songs. Some of us can’t wait until the day after Thanksgiving to start listening. Sure, we love the ones that we sing in church, but what about the ones that fill our heads from the radio. This season we will look at the songs of Christmas connecting to the nativity story. Enjoy hot cocoa and cookies after each service!

Christmas Offering
We have kicked off our 2024 Christmas Offering. Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $25 or $5000. Every little bit helps. This is a church that is offering unlimited welcome to all and is changing the world. This year we were able to feed thousands of people, educate hundreds, keep people in their homes, pay necessary bills, work with kids and adults in the LGBTQIA+ community, open the building to countless groups, and change people’s lives. In 2025, we hope to do even more.
You can donate here and choose Christmas Offering from the dropdown menu.
Christmas Poinsettia Orders
Now – December 20th
You can order Christmas poinsettias here. The poinsettias will be used to decorate the Sanctuary for the Christmas Eve worship gatherings on December 24th.
Bells & Lights
December 1-15
This Christmas, help families in need in Loudoun County have a wonderful holiday! Crossroads is looking for those interested in sponsoring a child this Christmas. Stop by the Fellowship Hall after worship during Advent and pick a bell from the tree. It will list the child’s specific wants or ones asking for donations of Walmart gift cards. These gifts or cards will be given to children in Loudoun county who are in need of extra help during the holidays.
If you have any questions, please contact Kathy MacKrell at kmackrell@crossroadsnova.org.
School Break Bundles
December 1-15
This Christmas break, Crossroads will provide School Break Bundles for food insecure families in Loudoun County. Most children look forward to breaks from school. However, students who rely on free or reduced breakfast and lunch from school experience stress and anxiety during their breaks. By providing the food items listed here or donating $30.00 to School Break Bundles, you will be helping those students at risk of going without food during their break. The Crossroads congregation along with HOPE Preschool families are working together to help support this worthwhile mission.
Donations to School Break Bundles and can be made online or mailed to Crossroads. To find out how you can get involved, contact Kathy MacKrell.
